Flap Phoenix diaphragm pumps with flap valves
Flap Phoenix is a series of AISI 316 stainless steel air-operated double diaphragm pumps (AODD) in which the ball valves are replaced by flap (FLAP) valves. The flap valves pass coarse solids – from ~15 mm to ~45 mm depending on the pump size – without clogging, which makes them suitable for sludge and slurry, wastewater, dewatering in mines and wells, and food products with pieces. The pumps are self-priming, can run dry and against a closed outlet without damage, can be fully submerged and are easy to service without special tools. Their flow rate is from 170 to 1050 l/min and the working temperature from -20 °C to +95 °C. The series is available in two versions: Flap Phoenix FP – for industrial applications, with threaded BSPP connections, and Flap Phoenix Food FPF – a hygienic version with an electropolished body, TRI-CLAMP connections and FDA-compliant materials suitable for food contact. They are certified for use in explosive atmospheres ATEX (zone 2): II 3/3 G Ex h IIB T4 Gc, II 3 D Ex h IIIB T135°C Dc X.

Hygienic pumps with flap valves, an electropolished AISI 316 stainless steel body, TRI-CLAMP connections and FDA-compliant materials in contact with the product – for gentle transfer of products with pieces: fruit and vegetables, sauces, jams, meat and fish products.
