Helios AS low-pressure peristaltic pumps
Fluimac Helios AS low-pressure peristaltic dosing pumps are suitable for applications that need precise, even and reliable dosing – including corrosive, viscous and abrasive liquids, with no risk of contamination. They are efficient, durable, reliable and easy to use in various industries and in laboratories. The pumps are self-priming and can run dry for long periods, so they keep working even in harsh conditions, and the low maintenance requirements and easy service access reduce operating costs. Peristaltic pumps work on the principle of peristalsis: the rollers of the rotor squeeze a flexible hose, and their movement pushes the liquid forward while the hose behind them recovers and draws in more liquid. The liquid touches only the inside of the hose – there are no valves or seals, so there is no risk of contaminating the product. The series comes in three versions – fixed flow rate (FX), mechanical variator (VX) and gearmotor with inverter (IX), with flow rates up to 2800 l/h, pressure up to 4 bar, viscosity up to 15,000 cps and suction lift up to 6 m.
