Pumps for shipbuilding and petrochemicals
Fluimac pumps are suitable for shipbuilding and the marine industry. They are often made of AISI 316 stainless steel, which resists corrosion in a salty environment. In petrochemicals they withstand harsh conditions – both onshore and offshore.

Use of Fluimac pumps
Phoenix air-operated diaphragm pumps need no electricity, run dry and, in the explosion-proof ATEX version, are suitable for fuels, cargo and lubricating oils, bilge water and hazardous wastewater. In petrochemicals they are used for chemical transfer, unloading drums and tankers, filtration and coolant recirculation. Dragon centrifugal pumps and Compass magnetic drive pumps are suitable for chemicals, and Neptune for transfer from drums.
Advantages
- Resistance to salty environments: AISI 316 stainless steel version.
- Explosion protection: ATEX version for fuels and hydrocarbons.
- No electricity: Pneumatic drive – safe in hazardous areas.
- Reliability: Dry running and operation in harsh conditions.
