Helios AS VX
Fluimac Helios AS VX is a low-pressure peristaltic dosing pump with flow regulation by mechanical variator. It is suitable for precise, even and reliable dosing of corrosive, viscous and abrasive liquids with no risk of contamination. The pump is self-priming and can run dry for long periods, and easy maintenance reduces operating costs. It reaches a flow rate of up to 2800 l/h and a pressure of up to 4 bar, handles liquids with a viscosity of up to 15,000 cps and has a suction lift of up to 6 m. Peristaltic pumps work on the principle of peristalsis: the rollers of the rotor squeeze a flexible hose, and their movement pushes the liquid forward while the hose behind them recovers and draws in more liquid. The liquid touches only the inside of the hose – there are no valves or seals, so there is no risk of contaminating the product.
